Course Information
This course is suitable for electrical workers or engineers who work with HV Equipment containing SF6 gas.
This course will be delivered holistically in a classroom environment (theory section) with access to work practices information and resources as per a normal workplace. Supervision of practical workshop activities will be conducted for assessment.

Candidates will be provided with:
Learners Guide, Assessments, Equipment and Manufacturers Manuals, Standard Forms and relevant Legislation.
Candidates must provide:
Hard hats, full face mask (A2/B2/E2/K2/P3 cartridges), steel capped safety boots, long sleeve high visibility shirt, long pants and thick leather gloves.

Please note: This course can ONLY be delivered on your own site for suitable sized groups. Site delivered courses can be combined with additional written SOP tailored to include your specific company procedures and / or familiarisation with the operation of your particular equipment and installation. Access to isolated SF6 switchgear, SF6 recovery and filling equipment, new SF6 gas cylinders for filling, and an empty SF6 gas cylinder for recovery of “used” SF6 gas will be required.
